Sheldon Ingram has
been coming to Shadyside Spin
since the day it opened. The popular
television reporter for WTAE, Channel 4
says he loves the environment. “Where do I
start? The bikes, the bright and
enthusiastic instructors, the atmosphere, the music,
they're all peaking on my
flow meter.”
We caught up with
Sheldon and asked him a few
questions.
SS: What’s the best
part of being a reporter?
SI: That my office is
outside the office. I spend
80 percent of my time floating around western PA and
traveling the country for
assignments.
SS: How long have you
been spinning?
SI: About four
years.
SS: How do you like to
spend your free time?
SI: My interests are
diverse. I enjoy fitness
activities, the movies, Latin dancing, scuba diving
and skiing.
SS: Do you have any
favorite night spots in the
Burgh?
SI: I enjoy Soba
Lounge, any cool restaurant with
good food, and I like Latin Clubs.
SS: Really? Do you
speak Latin?
SI: E pluribus
unum.
SI: Anything else
you’d like to share about
Shadyside Spin?
SS: I’d like to tell people
that whether you are a beginner or a pro, this is a
great place to challenge
yourself. Want to walk into a mass of energy?
Their studio and instructors will
suck you in and then jack you up. The instructors
don't just hold energy, they
throw it at you. I’d say, just try Shadyside
Spin one time. You'll see me
around and then you can thank me for the
recommendation and I'll be glad to see
you!
